A very rare, fine and attractive yellow gold perpetual calendar wristwatch from the haute horlogerie Swiss watch brand Daniel Roth, founded in 1989 and active until 2010. Production of the present reference started in 2002. Double ellipse-shaped case in 18k yellow gold, measuring 38 x 41mm, 10mm thick, sapphire caseback. Light cream coloured dial with ‘clous de Paris’ and ‘wavy’ guilloché motifs, applied silvered brushed chapter ring and outline of date sub-dial with ‘filet sauté’ guilloché motif, black printed numerals and inscriptions, blued steel Daniel Roth arrow hands. Caliber DR114, self-winding, 22k yellow gold rotor with ‘wavy’ guilloché motif and platinum 950 heavy segment. Functions – indication of time in hours and minutes, perpetual calendar with date and leap year indicators at 6 o’clock, day of week and month indicators in apertures in centre, moon phase at 12 o’clock.
